# Deflationary token

GPAD is the token of the GuildPad ecosystem, is built on the solana blockchain and it offers the possibility to participate in the launchpad and DVC deals. GPAD has a max supply of 100M tokens, but as it is a deflationary token, the circulating supply will never reach that number and will be reducing all the time. We do this by burning 5% of the tokens in the META-COIN minting and also burning 1% of the marketplace fees related to META-COIN sales. This will have a big impact on the GPAD price in the long term for the benefit of holders.
